Tarvin Community Centre is looking for Arts Officer

Tarvin Community Centre Committee of Management needs a new Arts Officer to coordinate its thriving programme of performing arts events!

The previous Arts Officer has had to step down for personal reasons, and with several events taking place in the coming months, the Committee needs someone to step forward and take up the reins.

Whoever takes up the role will ideally love the performing arts, have a flair for publicity and have good organizational skills. They will work closely with Cheshire Rural Touring Arts as well as taking the opportunity to promote other events by professional or voluntary groups of performers.

Ted Lush, Chair of the Committee of Management, says: “Whoever steps forward will not have to operate alone – they will have plenty of support and assistance from the rest of the Committee. We have an excellent venue with a recently fully-refurbished stage plus sound and lighting of a professional standard – the latter owing a great deal to Ashton Hayes Theatre Group who have made the Centre their performing base for many years. Add to this a spacious auditorium, comfortable Lounge/Bar and plenty of off-street parking, and it really is a wonderful place to watch live performances”

To discuss the role, please call Ted on 01829 741468 or email on chairman@tarvincommunitycentre.org
