On The Border weaves together real, personal stories across 4 generations and 100 years of Irish history on the Northern Irish border. Through a charming new folk tale, you will be taken on a roller-coaster of emotions as we share the ups and downs of life on the border. Told through movement, storytelling & Irish music. A journey of culture, community & identity

We are very excited to announce we will be hosting the premiere performance of On The Border.
An immersive show (watch the trailer below) that weaves together personal stories, family history and political & social changes on the Northern Irish border through four generations.

Threaded together by a unique and charming new folk tale written specifically for the show, we follow a young girl called Lost as she seeks to find her voice. Emily O’Shea Company’s new work takes you on an emotional roller-coaster tying together the partition of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, civil rights movement and the fight for women’s rights, with the joy and humour of everyday interactions.
